Telstra TV Box (Gen 2) and YouTube

Is anyone using Telstra TV Box gen 2 and having issues loading the YouTube app? From the home screen, selecting the app only generates the selection sound but nothing changes. YouTube logo doesn't even appear. I have taken the following steps:-

  1. checked that both YouTube version and box firmware are updated
  2. restarted the box
  3. removed and reinstalled app
  4. removed app, restarted the box and reinstalled app
  5. factory reset the box
  6. checked network and internet connections are both working

Other apps like Netflix are working without issues. YouTube was working fine last night. TIA.

    Same here. It doesn't work. It looks like YouTube was updated on the 21st of September. It's likely google broke something and will re-release an update hopefully soon.

    So it is just not me. Thank you all!

    Don't waste your time factory resetting it, it doesn't work.

    I had Telstra TV3.. same here.. the updated version(21 Sep) is not working.
