10W is a floodlight??? More of a puddle than a flood.

The old floods used a 500W halogen tube, putting out 8000 lumens.
For an LED equivalent, you need 100W and a massive heatsink, and/or cooling fan.

Struggling to understand what’s smart about this light

If you avoid getting it, then you're the smart one?

What is this going to light up? The slug trails?

    • Shipping cost $10.95

    • Clearly the supply chain has decided that this mood lighting needs to be disposed of asap.

Potentially well made given the branding but next to useless for most people.

      • Nah, they've been this price at least since October last year, I bought a bunch of them from Sparky Direct then and the price hasn't changed.
Like everything, there's a use case for them. They're certainly no night-sun floodlight, but they're bloody brilliant mounted over the workbench in the garage.

  • 800 lumens? Mood lighting?
