Possible Beef Jerky Promotion - Advice Please

Hi Guys

We are looking at doing a beef jerky promotion.

Our jerky has a fair following with over 8000 facebook fans and customers all over Australia. No Sugar in our jerky so its more expensive for us to make but that's why our customers love it as it's higher quality.

I have been asked to come up with a deal and wanting to know what would be a good price point. What's your thoughts on price points $40, $80 or ?? Once I know I can workout the maximum number of bags I can get in a deal for that price. The bags will be 35g with a mix of flavours.

Thanks

Scott

Simple, click through past beef jerky deals and see what's popular, and aim on that price point

I think you should work around postal rates.
Up to 125g, 250g or 500g in a large letter would be my guide, unless you have better shipping rates.

  • Is this Beef Jerky? Or is this Bilton?
    Big difference in my opinion…

  • Good quality Jerky is hard to get at times so i would expect to pay a little more but dont want to be robbed as we are always looking for a bargin!

I think $60/kg is a pretty good sweet spot in 250g packs.
Aldi does theirs for $40/kg which you can tell they sacrifice a lot to get that price.
i normally buy from biltong.com.au for about $80/kg, they are expensive so I only get them if there's a 15% discount but they are like the gold standard for me in quality.
