      Can't guarantee, but every time I've tried buying gift cards in-store in the past it's been fine. The CC company can't tell what you purchased.

      If you want $10 for $100 you can try the woolies gift cards deal posted. It gives you points though not cash back.

      Like any credit card, it does a check. But I don’t get why people are so worried unless your a churner.

      Why should that matter? Scores are overrated. Yes too many enquiries within a year might sound worrisome but otherwise don't think it'll impact you in an adverse way.
