Should be illegal.
If your chain derails or breaks down a hill you are doomed. These sorts of bikes don’t usually get maintained either,
It should have a front brake as well.
I think they'd be pretty safe for cruisy riding in flat areas.
I was gonna say, "tell that to the Dutch", but remembered they don't have hills.
Perfect country for cycling there too. Flat and the sun isn’t trying to kill you.

Tried to coast once on a fixie as a kid. Nearly went flying.
If it's the same one I had overseas just know it's made in China and is very heavy. You're paying for the name and there are probably cheaper bikes at Kmart.

All my bikes I had when I was a kid had coaster brakes and I used to go flat out down the steepest hills I could find, no problem.
