Got me with Golden Axe…. Ty

  • Could get them all on an emulator if that's your thing, even go all out and get the whole console archive before about PS3 in any old pc or even a raspbery pi. But if you love Sega and wanna give Steam some money, it's not a terrible deal.

    • I wonder if the online play is better in this than on the average emulator? They tend to always go out of sync at some point.

      • Good point, the online multiplayer would expectedly be much better with the official sega release.

  • VR? O_o?

The virtual bedroom is in 3D, then the game shows up on a virtual CRT and you can play it like you are in a 90s kids bedroom.

    Sega does what Nintendon't

  • I loved my Sega Megadrive.

    What a console.

    • Still have mine in working condition with 6 button controllers and a bunch of cartridges as well. Sega MD LOVE.

This has been cheaper in the past, especially from Fanatical, but if you've been redeeming Mega Drive giveaways over the years, the adjusted price on Steam should be pretty decent for the rest of the package.

    • I've redeemed 8 of the games from giveaways, the adjusted price is $9.05 so it's not a substantial saving.

      • The games were 18c each for me, except the Sonic games which were 19c each. I’m OK with this deal, considering I used to rent them for about $3 each from Blockbuster.

      • I had a lot more games before I bought the rest of the package… something like 20 of them from giveaways and most of the sonic ones from a humble bundle. Pretty sure i paid ~$5 for the remaining games.

    • I did check the ozb history and it looked like it was around $14 in 2020 so I posted this one.

    But it misses Thunderforce III!!

    • +1

It misses a lot of games TBH. You'd think that titles like Super Hang-On, Dynamite Duke and Afterburner II would have made the cut seeing they're Sega IPs.

      • Perhaps they're leaving theses games for a SEGA Mega Drive & Genesis Classics Bundle so you're forced to buy both?

        • First volume was released 2010, the 5th and last was 2012. So I wouldn't expect them to be updating this anytime soon.

    • Great to see abother Thunderforce fan out in the wild!

Not Thunderforce 3, but enjoy this great TF4 boss medley https://youtu.be/bfu4S56pFf0

  • No Shane Warne cricket, no sale…

    • I have a brand new sealed copy of that game also played it for hours when I was a kid the psx version was the best however.

  • Seeee-gahhhhh

    • Saaaay-guuuuh!
