Free 34 Pc Beauty Bag with $60 Facial Skincare/Hair Care/Cosmetic Purchase (In-Store), ½ Price Neutrogena @ Chemist Warehouse

650

Chemist Warehouse has a new catalogue out today but sale starts 30 Sept. Their yearly beauty bag offer is here. Purchase $60 worth of hair care/facial skin care/make-up products (excluding anti-dandruff, hair loss and head lice products) in-store to get the bag. Not all stores will get stock for the beauty bag on day 1 of the offer, you may need to ask your local store. I got this last year and it was good value. Products may not be exactly the same as pictured but it shows Bioderma, Cerave, Sukin, Cancer Council, Hask , Olay, L'Oreal to name a few.

Should stack with the following offers. I say 'should' as CW has strange definitions for qualifying products and they can't override what their registers say are qualifying products. For example, Cerave face products did not count towards facial skin care last year.

Hair Care

  • 1/2 Price Garnier Fructis
  • 1/2 Price OGX
  • 1/2 Price Sukin
  • 40% off A'kin
  • 40% off Essano
  • 40% off Hask
  • 40% Off John Frieda

Skin Care

  • 1/2 Price Garnier
  • 1/2 Price Glow Lab
  • 1/2 Price Neutrogena
  • 1/2 Price Sukin
  • 40% off Andalou
  • 40% off Bioderma
  • 40% off Biore
  • 40% off Dr. Lewinn's
  • 40% off L'Oreal
  • 40% off Olay
  • 40% off Swisse
  • 30% off Trilogy
  • 20% off Cerave - this didn't work for me last year, but since there is a Cerave product in the freebie bag, it may work this year.

Make-up

  • 1/2 Price Maybelline eye
  • 40% off Rimmel face & eye
  • 40% off Revlon lips & eye
  • 30% off L'Oreal lip

I see Clarins is in the catalogue 20% off. I love Clarins, but cant do this because I havent even opened last years products, but if I could I would

Cerave better not count, I spent 28 bucks on a litre of some sort of face skin hydrating thing for the missus the other day and would much rather have spent another 32 to get a goodie bag.

    • I don’t think it counts - tried to buy some cerave cream and a staff member scanned it through and said it didn’t contribute to the threshold for the beauty bag.

Why can’t they have this for online purchase as well. No chemist warehouse within my 5km prison.

Not only that, but encouraging people instore in hotspots is a straight-up terrible idea. A responsible company would delay this promo in Sydney and Melbourne until lockdowns are over.

  • dodgy employees at the fivedock store probably took it home to use themselves.

    • Pretty much every chemistwarehouse employees do this and tell you "While stocks lasts"

OP, Sale Starts 30th September not today

    • Whoops, thank you. Chemist warehouse usually don't publish their catalogues early and I wrongly assumed it had started today.

      • Usually they start new catalogue once the old one ends but it looks like they want to leave a gap of 3 days this time

  • Thanks op. I get this every year.
(But for once I wish there was more makeup in the bag. All my makeup expired during lockdown :'( )

That means you can buy some new stuff and it would count towards the beauty bag :)

  • CW has just removed their catalogue online, it now says 'Coming soon'. i guess it wasn't meant to be published until Thurs. Oh well, we get a sneak peek of the offers!

    • +3

Catalogue is still listed here in case anyone wanted to peruse the rest of the offers.

  • Does click and collect count as in-store?

I don't think the beauty bag was listed online last year, so you can't add it to your order to do C&C

      • Ok, thanks!

  • I am a sucker for these gifts with purchase. I do not need any skincare or makeup. So I may stock up on some nice haircare.

  • I love these gwp’s but disappointing they’ve lowered the value without lowering the spend.

  • thanks for this. i got one at woolengabba qld

    • Cool, were the products the same as pictured in the catalogue?

      • +1

Largely yes for me! Klorane dry shampoo was oat not aquatic mint. Can't tell what the beige Sukin tube in the photo is but I got a bottle of Volumising Thickening Spritz.

Thank you. I managed to get one. Also bought some CeraVe face wash and it counted towards my total.

    • Oh cool!

Can confirm that I bought a bunch of Cerave (including the Facial PM moisturiser so very clearly a facial skincare product) and the checkout lady said that the computer system didn't recognise any of it as being valid for the promo.

    • This was my experience last year as well - the Cerave PM face moisturiser didn't count on the checkout system.

  • Any way of checking stock of these bags? My local had run out already!

    • You may have to ring the individual stores that are near your area.

  • Do only the products listed for sale in this post count towards the 60 dollar spend or will other brands under skincare/haircare/cosmetic count? And would sunscreen from hamilton or dermaveen count as skincare?

    • +1

You just need to purchase $60 worth of hair care/facial skin care/make-up products (excluding anti-dandruff, hair loss and head lice products) from any brand. However, Chemist warehouse may not recognise certain products as facial skin care. For example, they file sun protection products under sun care. You'll have to check at the register.

      • Ah I see, thanks for letting me know!

This is expired however a few days ago I just purchased this bag for $20. Saved me having to scrabble around for things to buy. There was a small pyramid of them next to the counter at The Glen when previously they said it was sold out. Worth the $20.
