[VIC] Kirkland Signature Sangria Classic Red 1.5L - $7.99 (Normally $9.99) @ Costco Docklands (Membership Required)

50

Costco has their Sangria at $7.99 for the 1.5l bottle.

This is a nice drop, particularly if you pair it with some frozen berries.
In my case I then eat the macerated berries with Greek Yoghurt as a dessert.

This tends to be the tipple I drink when I'm cooking.

A light red. Cherries and plums with a touch of Valencia orange.

it works well with the frozen berries, or if I want to get fancy I cut up blood orange and Granny smith apples to put in it.

I have had some good Sangria wines but this one is awful. It tastes and looks like it has been diluted with 50% water. This is what one can expect at this price.

  • Cheap red wine + home brand cola is the OzBargainer’s sangria of choice.

    • Or rather some fruit juice to make it sangria.

It's 1.5 litre of 6% "wine", so indeed you can buy a 11-12% 0.75-litre red for $3, water it down with some juice (and water), slice some fruits and there you go.
