    So it's essentially plug and play with that pre-installed heatsink? Was a bit hesitant due to colour but reminded my dumb self that after installation I'll never have to look at it anyway.

  I have the 1tb. Great drive at this price, but removing the heat sink will void warranty.

  In case it helps someone….I had issues as this drive does not fit in the ITX X570 Aorus motherboard (despite Gigabyte listing as compatible) due to a cooling fan clip. It does fit perfectly in the ITX Aorus B550 motherboard without that fan. Gigabyte refunded and exchanged for me once they realised the error

    Just note the write speed is nearly half of the 1/2tb drives.
    It writes at 2500mbps vs 4400mbps

  How does this compare to Segate Firecuda 520? They have similar read write figures?

  I have a lian li o11 dynamic xl case with a Aorus Z390 Ultra mb and 9900k cpu. I was thinking of getting this cpu block https://www.shoppingexpress.com.au/buy/ekwb-ek-quantum-veloc… , but was wondering if I should get a block specific to my mb that cools the vrm?
