I use Opera both on PC + phone … Had been trying almost non-stop from 6am-10am this morning, but no go. Have just tried several times with Chrome.

everything else seems "good" (very common for competitions), there's even some promise that they'll delete or destroy anything that resembles medical records at the end of the competition

@OnTheMark: Depending on which field you come from. If you’re coming from physics, it’s common to provide numbers up to 4 significant figures.
If coming from social sciences/economics etc., then the above apply less so.

@ilovefullprice: I mean that you can't take imprecise inputs to a calculation and end up with a precise answer. (As a general rule at least)
As an example, it would be nonsensical for someone to say that they live about a mile from somewhere and for someone else to response, oh, you mean 1.60934 km away? The estimate of 1 mile can mean a range of values - it could easily range from 0.75 miles to 1.5 miles or even more if the person doing the estimating isn't very good with their estimation, so converting it to a metric value that is precise down the centimetre makes absolutely no sense whatsoever.
In this case, ozbd has done a calculation with 3 estimates, each with only a single digit of precision - to do a further calculation and claim 4 digits of precision on the final value is not just pointless but can be deceiving as to the accuracy of the answer. Back when I was in uni, some lecturers would simply mark an answer as wrong if you provided too many digits of precision - others would just deduct marks.
@OnTheMark: Well, I can only say the no. is just an estimate, so how many sig. fig. I had included is irrelevant. Also, this is not a uni class :)
@ilovefullprice: Although this isn't a uni class, having 4 significant digits implies that it's a precise value rather than just an estimate. The last 3 digits that you have provided are meaningless - it's actually easy to argue that there's significant doubt as to the value of the most significant digit even.
