Is Techfast High Quality Service and Reliable?

I heard majority of people have gotten issues with Techfast and received poor customer service.

I would love to hear some personal experience buying and dealing with Techfast if possible.

Is it wise to buy from Techfast or should I try a different supplier?

    I think you'll find most people have good experiences. It's just the negative experiences that are posted. Their deals are popular for a reason.

    Personally I had a good experience. They shipped the parts separate at my request and they all arrived within a fortnight. All parts worked fine and I haven't had an issue.

    That being said, my friend got a similar PC but pre-built by TechFast. He said one of the fans' molex connector was a bit broken so it seems like they may have been a bit too hasty plugging it in.

    I bought a Black Friday build from them last year.

    It took 2 months to arrive (GPUs were in short supply so I don't blame them here).

    My build then had issues where it was shutting itself off after a short period of time. I returned it back to Techfast twice and only on the second time, they diagnosed that the CPU, motherboard and possibly GPU were damaged.

    I waited just under two weeks for them after the second diagnosis to replace everything and no problems since.

    I was fairly patient the entire time and Techfast customer service themselves were courteous and responded to my enquiries within a reasonable timeframe. But yeah, still not happy my system was faulty and I had to send it back twice.

    Am I happy with my build? Yes as it was a good deal considering rise in GPU prices.

    But would I buy from them again - absolutely not.

        Of course. First time, it was just a few emails and a return post slip.

        The second time, I showed them video of my computer being faulty.

        I saw your recent post - Give them more time. Techfast are always busy.

  • For me the deal said that all orders would be shipped at the end of the month. Weeks into the next month and it still hadn't shipped. Customer service basically said it doesn't matter what the deal on OzBargain said as that's irrelevant and it'll take up to 2 months longer.

    Basically the guy was saying they'll lie on the post to make a sale.

  • Would be keen to hear a techfast rep comment on this. You see them lurk on here from time to time.
