ShopBack Tracking - Question

Hi all,

Apologies if this is the wrong avenue or a commonly asked question (I didn’t see it upon quickly scanning the forum search results). I just now made a purchase within shopback on Catch, but there’s nothing showing in my recent purchases tab.

Should it show in my recent purchases on Shopback immediately, or will I not know for a further 2 days whether or not it’s tracked successfully? Sorry if it’s a silly question, but I did some googling and it seems like cashbacks on Shopback can be in either pending or confirmed status, so I thought at the very least if my purchase is eligible for cashback it’d show as pending immediately, and change to confirmed 2 days later.

    It takes 4-8 hours for it to track, you can always go into your click history and make sure that website history is there.

    It won't be in pending or confirmed until it's been tracked first hope this helps

        All good mate I wondered the same thing for my first purchase, I'm up just under $400 CB total so it does work and track :)

    Shopback are well known for not tracking and not paying. Cashrewards is all I use now.

      And CR typically tracks instantly. Burned by SB too many times to go back there.

    • Oh thanks for this heads up! I just signed up for ShopBack because it was 20% off and I saw there were some other bonus offers available ($5 off $20 and $15 off $110, thankfully I had both).

      Luckily my order seems to have tracked, but I’ll keep that in mind and watch out for some good CR deals as well. Appreciate your advice!

    • They have got worse. Only tracked 1/10 of my recent transaction while cashrewards tracked 10/10. Both in almost identical settings.

      • Yup, their browser extension doesn't even work with their tracking system. I got a popup after I made my purchase saying "congrats, your purchase has been tracked blabla", didn't get the tracking email after a few days. Email support gave the usual 'you must have done something wrong merchant can't validate your claim'. Lucky I took a screenshot of that popup.
