Was looking for a new mattress, this one seems to have the best reviews at the under $1000 price point and currently they have 50% off ending tonight, plus stacks with referral code for an extra $30 off.

Expires tonight though.

  • If I buy this, where will Emma sleep? Sorry, I'll show myself out…

In case you haven't bought it yet, might want to compare with Onebed.com.au who are having a 40% off sale everything. Have had one for 5 years and am very happy with it.

      Thanks mate, bought one

  • Has this one for few month, it's good, combined with free comfort layer offered since it was bit firm to start with.

    • Free comfort layer?

      • +1

How did you get the free comfort layer mkh1991 ?

    • I am also wondering how you got the free comfort layer.

      • +1

Email them the mattress is too firm and they will ask if you want comfort layer and just respond them

A word of warning. Emma sleeps support is non existent. When problems occur there is no number to call. 2 confirmed delivery dates were no shows, the 3rd they sent the wrong size. 18 days later after loads of stress it came. Better options out there to get a mattress in a box.

    • I had great support when I bought it, I had to change delivery date and did it via email, response was very quick. Not sure if you’re talking about warranty or delivery issues though

  • Still valid as of 12:28am!

  • After adding to the cart the price changes from $599 to 719$ now for king size

  • Anyone heard anything about delivery times?

      I have.

I ordered an Emma Original mattress over 3 weeks ago. I was wary of delivery issues given some reviews I had come across online so I asked for confirmation regarding delivery times before I ordered my mattress. They responded very quickly via their Live Chat function online confirming 1-6 business days for metro areas. I also asked for confirmation that the Emma Original was in stock. They confirmed all of the above but here I am still waiting for a mattress 23 days later. Live Chat is not helpful at all after you place an order. All correspondence is via email and there is often a 4-5 day lag time in email responses from them. There is no customer service number to call as others have already mentioned.

I got an email last week stating that I was "one of the select few" who got upgraded to an Emma Comfort mattress - which doesn't have many reviews online, and is way too soft for my liking. I said thanks but no thanks, I'll take the Emma Original. They essentially said, too bad we don't have the Original in stock anyway. I don't have a mattress so I might just take whatever they've got and return it before the 100-day trial period ends. I'm still waiting for a response regarding delivery date though. I sent them an email 4-5 days ago.

That's my wonderful experience with Emma to date! From what I've read online, stock of the Emma Original hasn't existed for some time and the mattress has now been discontinued. They seem to have used the reputation of the Emma Original to boost orders and then offer inferior stock to suckers, I mean customers, like me.

        That all sounds dreadful :(

      • Hmm ok they sent me an email stating next week and offered $30 off…

  • Yeah I got the same $30 off and told it's coming next week. They are selling the mattress as the top score from choice, you reckon that they are using the ratings for "the orginial" on "the comfort"? If so, that's pretty bad if it's a completely different product, which I believe it is as the comfort has one layer less.

    • Interested to know when you get your mattress. I'm still waiting for mine 4 weeks on. Latest follow up email to them received this auto reply: "The recipient's mailbox is full and can't accept messages now. Please try resending your message later, or contact the recipient directly." That was me contacting the recipient directly! This is a sham. I wouldn't recommend ordering from these clowns.

      • I just got mine. So far so good.

        • Got mine today too, currently waiting for it to fully expand.

          • @Wombatt: Good to hear you got yours. I also got mine. After no email response I got a text at 6pm on Friday stating that the mattress was on board for delivery - no other notice. It arrived after 8pm when I wasn't home.

Two days later and it doesn't seem to have fully expanded. One side of the mattress is thinner than the other. Any issues with yours?

            • @Krikey: Mine seems to have expanded correctly, left it for 24 hours just to be sure. There's a bit of a smell which I expected and it's a bit firm but otherwise no complaints, yet. I wouldn't think that one side should be thinner than the other.

              • @Wombatt: Does it matter which way round it goes?

                • @poxy001: Sorry @Wombatt, I don't think I explained that right, I meant thinner on one end of the bed. So it's thinner at the bed head end for me.

Although, good question @poxy001, not sure if it matters which way around you place it? Either way, it should probably be the same thickness across the whole mattress based on photos I've seen.
