Really didn’t need a watch. Ordered one. Thanks OP !

  • Wow that design is something else.

Not as good as the all-time historical low ($290.86) but it's certainly the best price for it this year and a great price for a watch that normally retails for around $500-600 AUD.

Nice find Op, don't forget 6% cashback at Cashrewards.

Just a heads up - it has non standard lugs so you won't be able to change the bracelet.

Does the radio transmission work in Australia?

    • +2

No mate, no atomic/multiband/radio signals. Only options here in Australia or for the most part of the world for proper time accuracy is for the watch to have Bluetooth or GPS satellite features.

Depends where you live. My Seiko clock bought in Japan (don't know about the watch) occasionally picks up radio signal in Brisbane. Nearest transmitter is in Japan.

Resets to 1 hour time difference - which is annoying. Haven't worked out how to change settings to stop that. Think they assumed the clock would not be used outside Japan.

    • Can’t speak from experience, but supposedly you can use an app such as this to sync with Atomic time, (best to check Google and reviews) https://apps.apple.com/au/app/jjy-simulator/id431054911

  • The version of this watch with gold detailing is gorgeous
