Cheapest Way to Buy a Lifetime MS Office License?

I'm after either office 2019 or office 2021 (need word, excel, powerpoint, and preferably outlook).

I have access to the home use program, but it seems it only gives a 30% discount on office 365, not the lifetime license.

What is the cheapest (legit) way of getting office?

Thanks!

apparently the law requires any UK licenses to be able to be resold once, so those would be legit and probably the cheapest non piracy acquisition method

I moved to LibreOffice and never looked back.

    YMMV.

https://docs.google.com/ is also a legit solution.

    • Nope you need always connected to internet…

      • Doesn't Google docs have an offline mode?

  • Any students in the family? Uni students? Uni accounts come with 5 office installations i think. I'm still using mine after graduating 8 years ago lol . still using current office version.

    • What happens when the login account is blocked by uni or password expires ?

      • I really don't kno. ive been resetting my password every few months. I grad in 2013. Still can login to uni microsoft webmail and download office from it. That does mean the licence details are my uni student number etc. but still works.

  • I bought a "lifetime" office 365 license for $1.5 on aliexpress in Jan and its still working. Although I dare not store my stuff on there.

    • I assume it was a digital code?

      • Nah its an office 365 login. It's not shared as far as I can tell, they let me choose a username.

        • eh, for $1.50 it's worth a shot. Do you recall the listing?

    • Same except mine stopped working a month or so later.

  • Enroll into Uni.
Download, activate MS package via Uni acc.
    Drop uni.

    Free MS package.

  • I just use the free online office.

  • Libre office is or was my main package and it has improved a lot since using it for a over 5 years, although i tend to utilise google docs more so just for ease as i have chrome books, android tablets and phones.

    • how come i fee libre is slow when starting the app ?

      • Not really slow for me, but I have come to terms with the slower boot up I guess.
