Best online shopping customer service you have experienced?

Curious to see if people wanted to share their best experience with online customer service? I would say that most of us had pretty good experiences with Amazon, but any other stories of other online stores?

Had great experience with Gearbite. Bought a Xiaomi scooter from them, had a little issue with it after a few months of daily use, contacted them, they arranged for the item to be picked up by courier for free, replaced the battery pack with a new one, and even fixed my flat front tyre then sent it back, all free of charge and quick. Thought I should share this to give them more recognition. Have been buying more Xiaomi stuff from them since.

  • Always had great experiences with Mighty Ape's customer service. Always friendly, reply fast and solve any issue I've had.

Snowy's. No idea how they can get the items to you so fast.

  • Airjo coffee.. first time ordered from them during the last sale. Ordered on a Friday, arrived on Monday

  • Godiva telling me they were ditching Sendle after I complained Sendle left my chocolate outside in 27 degree weather without ringing the doorbell. (I guess my complaint was the straw that broke the camel's back!)

Adore Beauty for including the bonuses via online chat even though you forgot to use the code.

Not strictly online shopping, but since correspondence is via e-mail/phone, Sydney Theatre Company for sorting out my complex questions without fuss.

  • My very first purchase from Redbubble I ordered these awesome design tees a size too big, after I contacted them asking if I can return them and get a size smaller they just said I can gift the bigger tee to a friend and they will send me out a medium size no other questions asked.

I thought it was pretty good, but their customer service I have read can be hit and miss.

Telstra Bigpond, about 10 years ago when data was pretty limited and I needed some more. Instead of 1000mb credit they accidentally gave me $1000 credit on my account. No complaints from me.

I suppose The Iconic, with their quick returns/exchange process.

  • The best customer service is when I don't have to contact the online retailer at all to find out if it's good or not.

  • Only Amazon for me, really.

I did have to get a product exchanged online through EB Games recently and that was quite smooth. But then I'm still waiting on another enquiry of mine to be resolved by them.

  • turramurra music centre. i ordered a pair of dt 770s and they didn't arrive after a month, so i contacted them and after a couple of messages they express posted another pair (original was normal post) and just asked that i return the original pair if they ever turned up. the original pair never turned up, someone at auspost probably snagged a new pair of headphones though.

  • Ordered a couple of weeks ago from Koh, 10.19 am Thursday. Package arrived around 10.30 am following morning.

  • For all the bad press TPG gets I find them painless to deal with. Lost internet maybe 40 minutes before important Zoom call. Phoned customer service expecting the usual, someone from Australia answered the phone immediately! Did a few checks, turned out the modem had become faulty and not doing 5Ghz anymore. Easy fix to change bandwidth but CSR offered replacement modem at no charge which arrived the following day! I was impressed.

  • Itha's Puddings and Gourmet Food.

Personal service. Delivered on the day I wanted. Due to supply issues they substituted similar items of a higher value and added a bonus item. The gift receiver was more than happy.
