    Just Say No!

    • +1

Imagine picking up an extra, guaranteed, just say no every time you pick up 2 new cards - that's essentially the reality for wealthy people playing real life monopoly.

    • The game basically boils down to this lol. Who has the deal breaker and just say no =p

      • If you keep your sets separated until the end people can’t Deal Break you

        • Wait you're allowed to do that? I mean there doesn't seem to be any rule allowing you to move house cards you've already played?

          • @incipient: As long as they are Wild Cards you can separate them as many times as you like

It’s only if you have a set of all the same non Wild Cards that they can’t be separated and then you are better off holding on to the card that completes the set until you are going for 3 Sets or the 2 Deal Breakers have been played

i can see why the its bargain basement stuff, i literally watched a 3:30 minute tutorial video, card presentation looks good but the game just seems way too convoluted especially for casual play.

    Change my mind.

It's actually really simple once you've played a round of it.
It gets overwhelming because all the location became cards and they all different colour sets and seems overwhelming.
Once you get past that it's not any harder than uno

      ?

Games are 15 min if that once the players are super familiar with it.

    • You'll regret it, it's more fun, more brutal than regular monopoly. It's simple once you play. Banker can't cheat. Family/friends will demand more rounds as it's luck based anybody can win. I've got 2 decks to add more players.

Can highly recommend for children/students with additional needs. Use it Learning Support and it's a great break reward game due to the set rules, quick play and no fuss set up.

Not a biggy, but this game used to come in a red plastic box for storage, these days its a cardboard packet. My unopened deck got regifted as a kk present 😭.

Been trying to find one ever since. Bigw/kmarts advertise it

Keep an eye on ALDI, the past two years they’ve brought our Monopoly Deal with the red plastic container as a special buy in November.

I’ve spoken to game stores and they’ve said that the red box edition is out of print and has been for a while so it’s surprising to see ALDI had it last year.
