I was looking at this thinking what exactly is that?! It says "4GB" so I presume it's some kind of flash memory with 4GB of capacity, but the product itself it no more than just a memory card reader. So what is this 4GB about?!

    • 4gb is grossly misleading

    • Hi, scotty.
4GB means that the memory card reader can read 1-4 GB memory card.
Sorry that we have not make it clear.

      • Would the term 'standard' or 'non-SDHC' be more appropriate than '4GB' ? Because you do state that it CAN read SDHC cards, which are >4GB…

        • Hi,shaw, you are rihgt.
          I gonna correct the title.

  • +1

    4GB is just the name.

it doesn't actually come with 4Gb of memory. Just a card reader.

    • +1

Okay. I'll say that it's a bit misleading using "4GB" just as the name. Who is stopping them using something like "16TB" for their hard drive enclosure products?

      • +2

I agree, it is pathetic, although I think reality is stopping them using something as absurd as your example mate :P.

I was wondering too if it was some form of hybrid product, but apparently not, more junk. It isn't really a bargain either is it, can pick them up all the time for <50c…

        • +1

Aldi was selling card readers with inbuilt memory, so those hybrid products exist
Agree - confusing product name & title

        • +1

I'm not doubting they exist, but regardless, it should be mentioned either way.

    Boooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
    Very misleading

      Hi, cobretti.
Sorry that we have made some mistakes by accident.
      We have corrected the information.

  • Where do you enter the coupon code on your website ? Can't see any option there ?

    • Hi, batrarobin.
You should first add the item to your cart (if you have registered, or you should register first)
and then you can enter the coupon code.

"Ultra High Speed - Read: 4.3Mbps Write: 1.3Mbps"

Gonna be a long time filling that multi GB SD card…

This is exactly the same card reader I bought 6 or 7 years ago, I can't believe any factory is still producing it.
