      you'd read if you have an interest on the game or suggest it to youngesters who are still learning the game. we used to learn from paperbacks 20 years ago, sigh!

    Is it like every other chess book for beginners?

    Chapter 1: Chess is played on a board of 64 squares, alternating black and white. This is the king, the queen, the bishop, the knight, the rook, and the pawn. They move like this.

    Chapter 2: The Steinitz Variation in the Caro-Kann Defence - can it reduce IQPs arising from the Panov–Botvinnik Attack?
