It's good, but not good….Just read a story this week that some farms are watching them fall to the ground to rot as it costs more to pick and transport/sell. :(
I saw an article saying we have over supplies and some is rotting in the farm.
It's largely due to the slow maturation process of avocado trees, Avocado prices spiked some 5-7 years ago coincidentally also the time taken for a tree to mature.
Now all those farmers that ripped out their apple/orange trees and replaced them with these are finding that all their plants are fruiting at the same time causing a huge oversupply.
