Not that I'm aware of. You can check if payment has been processed in your BG account by clicking on 'My Orders'.

  • Just a cautious warning if you buy it don't expect the picture to look like what is does in a DSLR camera.

Just another cautious warning - if you buy this don't expect your family and friends to invite you on holiday ever again.

On the plus side, it'll help fill that side drawer after that one fun use.

Initially, I thought this would be a good purchase, but looking into it more…

I don't think this is even worth $10.70 - The reviews explain it all.

    • This is basically landfill.
      Good optics aren't cheap.

Anyone who has previously purchase a camera lens/binoculars/rifle scope will know this thing won't even be worth the time it takes to add to cart and check out.

  • It has free shipping when I add to cart, but when I go to checkout it changes and charges to express shipping. It has no option to change it in the checkout. Any reason why?

Appears to be bug with the website. Reading the comments from previous BG deals, try editing or manually entering your address for a possible fix.

I assume this can be used without a phone - ie: held up to your eye to watch, you know, sport and shit?

    Asking for a friend…

its best if you lean this against your balcony to capture shots of neigh… birds…

      • So I bought a pair of nikon binoculars for watching model rocket launches at an event in the desert. Turns out, they are like microscopes for peoples facial complexion at a distance of around 3m and it feels so wrong, you can see the individual hairs, etc.

        • 3 Meters. Just take a photo

          • @mokr: 3m is the minimum focusing distance. Its super zoomed in, nothing in comparison to a photo.

Might even glimpse the rare pink booby

          nah…

I'm more of a fan of sombre tits…

I got one ages ago, tbh it's more of a kids toy the view isn't spectacular but it's so cheap. But yes you can just use the telescope on it own held up to your eye.

      P. S. Don't need a telescope to view shit.

      • My friends says "thanks" :)

  • Do not free free shipping for this, Total comes to AU$19.36

    • Check my comment above.

      • Thanks but no luck.

  • Ah….forgot to remove insurance :(

I don't know if this is this, but a warning on some of these, Google "scam monocular" and "scam starscope" and lots of similar results call it a scam.

Read the reviews before parting with your cash.

  • Hilarious reading all the 5 star reviews with the blurry moon shots and talking about broken and fake things… Confirmation bias?
