    • hi, just wondering the link is not working for me?

      • I had to use a cached version, and then got the stock count via API
Link was just for the product code really.

        • ah ok. thank you!

Don't bother trying to get JB to price match the pic of this receipt. Not going to work according to their make the rules up aa you go approach.

7.1 surround sound over a 3.5mm adapter is impressive.

    • From their website:

Equipped with 7.1 surround sound software so you can experience accurate positional audio when gaming—you’ll be able to pick up the direction of where the action is coming from so you’re ready to pounce into a gunfight. Featuring custom-tuned 40mm drivers, the Razer Kraken X produces clear and balanced sound from thundering explosions in all-out wars to subtle footsteps in stealthy covert operations.

*Only available on Windows 10 64-bit.

Doubt it's much better than Windows Sonic.

    • Not really, unless there are 8 different drivers in the headphones "7.1 surround sound" is just a bunch of marketing nonsense. Essentially it uses some software trickery to make it (poorly) sound as if you're surrounded by speakers using the two drivers. I'm pretty sure you can use razer's surround sound software on any 3.5mm headphones. Either way, you best not pay attention to their BS.

  • Hope Amazon price matches

  • Same headset on sale at JB Hi-Fi for $70.40

Why post the most expensive ???

    $49 here….

    • That's in QLD. Delivery to SA is $12, but there are JB HiFis in SA.

      • Even with delivery, it is cheaper.

QLD can also click & collect for free…

  • I have the USB version of this. Been using it daily for a while now as my headset for work to take calls. Pretty comfortable and decent sound quality. My main issue is they feel quite plastic-y and flimsy so durability would be a concern.

    • How’s the mic?

      • It's decent enough for taking work calls and games. Some people mentioned it sounded a bit soft. But if you're using in a quiet environment it should be fine.

  • Not sure if the same but I see for $29 at bing lee on sale

    • Post the link. If you’re wrong theres a few people on here who will let you know and destroy you.

      • Popped up in pricehipster when I searched. Looks like it’s off the Bing lee website now. Never know your luck if you happen to be wandering past a store

  • I had one of these, after a year the plastic band over the head broke

    • thats disappointing to hear, I currently have the kraken pro v2, an earlier version of this with aluminium bands and it actually held itself just fine after 4 years now. Only looking to replace it as the cable is kinda broken as sometimes its not getting sound through. if this new version is just cheap plastic then i may have to look elsewhere.

Lots of Vic store will have stock as people cannot get into the store.

  • Got the last 2 at Vic Park, WA. They were only $29 each!
