    If you are like me and had no idea what a console table is, then Google image search and you'll have a better idea. Basically this is too thin to be of any use as a proper table, just a hallway stand or something. 13mm is roughly half the average computer desk thickness to give you an idea.

        That's a stupid idea. You just buy the correct size or thickness. They're not double the price. You'd be pretty dumb to buy two and stack them. In fact, $115 is kind of a rip off. Inbuilt 900mm X 1800mm X 26mm or 40mm is $162 from memory.

          Keep in mind, compact laminate is different from your regular laminate tops. It's a hell of a lot stronger.
