Factory Outlets for Food etc. in Sydney

Hi all

Have just come on Facebook an Inghams chicken outlet in Brisbane but being in Sydney it isn't super relevant

It did get me thinking though if there is a wiki page or anything that exists on here for where people can stock up with suppliers direct at their outlets kind of thing rather than buying through supermarkets.

Chicken seafood deserts any type of bulk bargain supplier direct outlets I guess is what I'm getting at

Does anyone know of any good ones in Sydney?

Thanks

  • Costco would be a possible 'all in one' type option

Costco technically is a supermarket. You only feel you are buying "direct" due to the warehouse setting. It is no different to coles or woolies. And other than the kirkland brand and items on special, alot of stuff per unit cost is very similar to the local supermarket.

      • Well compared to the meat emporium example above, Costco would be cheaper for some of the cuts I would buy/compare (eg pork ribs, brisket)

For the examples above from the op (chicken and dessert, I don't think bulk seafood makes much sense for home purchase), I'd be curious to see what other options are available for consumer/private buyer access.

Not Sydney but if you're driving through they can have some cheap food.

Some food factories sell only to ABN holders? Maybe google that and see if you can buy if you're an ABN holder?
