Saw this pop up when I logged into Zip just then, look like they’ve brought back refer a friend with a boosted $30 this time.

Refer a friend using your unique referral link, and when they successfully sign up for an account and make their first purchase, you’ll both earn $30 towards your Rewards Goal. Your invitation will expire in 7 days from sending the invite.

Terms and Conditions:
*Refer a friend via the Zip app using your unique referral link, and when they successfully sign up for a Zip Pay Account using your referral link, and​ complete their first transaction, you will both earn $30 towards your Reward Goal. Redeemable when you reach your Reward Goal. To qualify, your friend must be invited after 2021-11-02 12:01 AM AEST and ​successfully sign up (and be approved in accordance with our approval criteria) and ​complete their first transaction before 2021-11-08 11:59 PM AEST. Promotion ends on 2021-11-08 11:59 PM AEST. If the referees first transaction occurs after the Promotion Period, you will both receive the default campaign amount of $10. Reward Program T&Cs apply.

I’m not sure if signing up directly via a referral link will work or not. To be safe, PM your number or email to the person you are requesting referral from, and get them to send you a referral via the app.

    So my rewards in Zip says it's $20 for a redemption - how much else do you need to spend on zip on other things in order to earn an extra $10 to then redeem the other $10 from the deal? (ie. so it adds up to the $20 redemption amount again). Does that extra $10 left over from the $30 ever expire. Hope I'm explaining this properly…

      I get what you mean… so they recently reduced the redemption to $20 so that you can't cash out the $30 right away. Smart move!

      No minimum spend. My mate just spent $1 using tap & zip and we got the $30 each straight away.

    in the app you need to send it to your contacts.. where you send a link to a number where they have to sign up in 6 days.

    The contact we get through PM is just the email, which isn't sufficient to do this. Does the link work on its own?

      It’s hard to say. Back in Feb, I had someone sign up via my link only and I got the $10 bonus, but this person does not show up in my invited list when I look now.
      This time to be safe, I just add the person requesting’s mobile# to my contact list and send a referral via the app just in case.
      I wonder if anyone accidental signed up via a referral link without receiving the text and still got the referral bonus this time.

    Signed up using someone's referral code, GOT STUCK AT LINK A CARD PAGE, (no place to put my card details) called ZIP call number, signup (he told dont worry about putting referral code, system automatically detects once put in)
    End result - FIGHT ING over bloody Referral bonus payment. - Just another Afterpay. I swear, will have my account deleted on spot on there bloody stupid excuses of not giving me referral bonus.

      Have you made your first purchase yet? The person referring you should be able to see your referral status via the app to see if your sign up via referral was successful or not

          Should say ‘in progress’ rather than ‘invited’, if the referral was successful. Will change to the status ‘Credit awarded’ after you made your first purchase.
          Doesn’t say anything about minimum spend in the T&C.

                But seems like Will be ditching this company as well (for false referral information, not giving them) too many Glitches on them, and will blame it on me for their IT problems

                    @magster: I personally don't care about any potential offers, if a company frauds me by not offering me my deserved credit, I do not ever deal with them again any time in future.

        I just shared the link. Their details did not appear in "my invited friends". I think this must be the reason why.

          Did they click on the link to signup? That should still work the link is what contains the referral code.

          I emailed customer service and today my referral shows as in progress not sure if they had to fix something to make it work or if it happened by itself overnight

          The purchase made still hasn't triggered the reward though :(

    Referred and signed up 2 days ago. Used the link from the SMS and sign up was done without a hitch. However in my all still says invite expires in 2 days so it hasn't registered I have referred them and they signed up. Stupid

    Have escalated to customer care they better resolve this. Seems I'm not the only one and the invited user already made the purchase

      I am in the same boat as you mate. Apparently they have been inundated with customer complaints. Its been 4 business days and they have not contacted back. Just an email saying sorry for delay….
