Vanguard is just COD:WW2 reskinned with MW2019's engine and game mechanics
Dev caught red handed forgetting to reskin a modern weapon in WW2 setting lol (M19 pistol in the takedown)
They copied the gunsmith weapon customisation too, with hilarious results
Gun experts (both real and armchair) had an absolute field day.
COD games made by Sledgehammer have always been crap. No 120hz support in MW3 multiplayer, the flame shotguns and overpowered silent sniper rifle in CWW2

For me it is; Bo2 and since this is very similar, I quiet like it. Next favourites are MW2, Black Ops, MW Remaster/CoD4.

@kungfuman: As you grow older and become "money-rich but time-poor", you play games to enjoy within limited free time. Singleplayer is sufficient for that.
We don't need to deal with 13 year old kids cursing our mothers after killing us with wallhacks and aimbot cheats…

Well yeah, the multiplayer is ok for the kids…
It's short. I thought it was good, but it ends right as you feel like you're getting midway through it. If you do the side missions, intel, etc. there's a bit more but it really isn't very long at all.
Unfortunately I felt the multiplayer was rubbish, but maybe I'm biased- haven't really enjoyed cod multiplayer since mw2 really.

Blops2 multiplayer is dead too - can't find any multiplayer TDM on evenings/peak even with game set to allow connections from across globe (max ping set to allow all)

Trash game stay away. Bugs bunny graphics, broken weapons and robolox zombie map. Plus all the hackers you come across every game.
i'd wait and see how many people move to Vanguard before buying a day out from that games release

Picked up Modern Warfare pre-owned for $10 a day after Cold war came out.
But still, until infinity ward come out with another title i'm staying away.
Black Op's graphics IMHO were trash.
Modern warfare on PlayStation had to be the most annoying game to install I've ever had.

Nah it's actually insane the lengths you have to go to get the game to actually work on Playstation, it's almost like it's designed that way so you're forced to play Warzone instead of the multiplayer mode for MW, which is actually really good. Not to mention hundreds of gigs of updates you need to download for some reason, with no attempt at file compression at all. Activision can kiss my ass
@FrugalBoi95: This is because Warzone is "the most popular" game mode based on MW, so every Warzone season update, every anti-cheat, bug fix(which creates more bugs) for warzone, is patched to the actual MW not just Warzone.
If you bought the game online rather than using the disc(and pay for the full price), you probably would have a much easier time download it once, than install the very original game and update almost every single file. At least you got it cheap.

Call of Duty Cold War multiplayer is a really fun experience, intense run & gun experience, Vanguard is WWII themed, which many might dislike….
Don't forget it will take 1/3 of your SSD space.. currently sitting at 255gb on the PS5. I did asked me to remove campaign data to save 59gb.. Jesus nearly 200gb for multiplayer and zombie mode?
