    now thats a deal!
    Love samboy bbq!

Yeah, they taste decent, would take this over the Smiths BBQ chips any day. Nothing too special though imo.

    • Smiths are milder compared to these, but I'm not sure I'd call them worse. Smiths use canola oil while Samboy use vegetable oil, so it gives it a different taste.

  • These will almost definitely be old stock. They will probably only have 1 to 2 months best before date left.

Amazon are price matching Big W, not a clearance.

      • +3

Rather get couple packs from Big W if i'm honest

        • +2

The ones I bought today from Big W had very short expiry date, 27.11.21

I'm a very simple man, I see BBQ Samboy, I immediately buy and upvote.

I'm the same with the Tomato Sauce ones. LOVE LOVE LOVE them.

Here get on it. Unfortunately still need to pick up in store or pay delivery by you can choose how many packs you want… only want 3 get 3, want the 12 get the 12 (or 20 I don't judge)

Need to bring Arnotts Tasty Jacks back to life! Best chips I've had

    • Huh, didn't know Arnott's made potato chips. They look pretty good tho

      • Arnott's also sold "Ruffles" chips back in the 80s.

Before widespread obesity, eating between the three main meals was a taboo activity.

Then marketers invented "snacking" in the 1970s and normalised constant eating so that they could make more money.

Or you can simply calorie count and not over eat? nothing wrong with a few chips and a beer on a weekend with mates…

My brother loves these and he's as fit as they come. knock wood

Half price on BigW 1.65/ea if you don't want buy 12

    • Thank you. Max. I was able to order at Big W was 4. Don't know if that's a per store limit or if that's all the stock they had at my local.

  • There is no better chip out there.

    • I remember when I was a kid and you could only get these in QLD. We used to visit family and I would always get Samboy BBQ chips. It was a blessing when they went nationwide. The tomato ones aren't always easy to get but my local Food Works has them if I don't mind a drive to get them.

      • Yeah, they seemed to go out opf fashion for a bit. Now still not always available. A damn good day when they are.

    What about tomato. Wheres tomato!?!

    • Big W has em for cheap.

    • Here get on it. Unfortunately still need to pick up in store or pay delivery by you can choose how many packs you want… only want 3 get 3, want the 12 get the 12 (or 20 I don't judge)

These chips have such an old school flavour/taste, it's like stepping back to 1985 when you eat one.

    • The chips tasted better back then.

    • +1

      Username definitely checks out…

I have 1985 hits tape with Mondorock on it, amongst other things

  • The link says 175g pack of 1 for $19.80 deal must've expired. Don't be fooled. 12 pack is $44.40.

    • It also has it listed as $0.94 /100g, which means $19.80 = around 2.1kg

I wish we got Atomic Tomato as a regular item in our shops here.

Still waiting for Samboy Salt and Vinegar

  • never heard of this brand before, better than Cheetos?

  • +3

Barbecue not barbeque, its even written on the packed

Pack or Packet? Not packed 😝

      • that was my joke, ha good pick up

        • Sorry, couldn't help myself!

  • Why did they stop stocking chicken flavour at Woolies in Tas?

  • ETA 2 - 4 weeks now so S&S not available.

  • Works out to $1.65 per pack. This is just the usual on-special price that you always see at Coles/Woolies. Not that special in my opinion.

  • Samboys always remind me of Video Ezy
