  I prefer the original NFS III: Hot Pursuit (the best NFS other than the original imo). But this remake was alright back in the day (remember buying it online a bit before Steam became my pc game buying addiction). Played the remastered version of the 20`0 game on Xbox recently thanks to gamepass, jumped at the chance to add it to my origin game list, runs pretty smoothly. Will try to finish it this time :P

    I got it too.
    There is a problem with your game's setup. Please reinstall your game.

    installing vc++ did the trick. x64 and x86 both
