First post. Be gentle.

Was looking for more coffee since buying bulk at the $10 deal a while back. Not the cheapest but better than the $20 in store. Buying a few to tie over until the next $10 deal. Might be helpful to some.

Obviously tastes vary, but I purchased this during one of the previously posted deals and it was terrible.

So terrible I considered just binning the remainder of the bag

For anyone considering, I’d suggest reading some reviews

    I won’t be buying again

This is significantly worse than Aldi's offering for around $13/kg.

It is personal preference of course, but I'd strongly recommend Aldi's coffee over this.

      • Yeah Aldi is my go to.

About the same price as this and much more pleasant IMHO

    • It’s interesting how tastes vary. My mum loves this brand and only drinks Harris. It was also voted Australia’s 2nd favourite coffee this year. I tried it and hated it.

    • Agree that its not the world best coffee - I think that 2nd favorite is a long stretch - but it is consistent. I am a heavy coffee drinker (~12-13 cups a day) so for the price point I have always gone with this. However, I havent tried the aldi brand before so will definitely give that a try after this lot is finished.

You have 12-13 cups of coffee yourself? Or you make that many for a number of people?

If the former, that's a serious amount of caffeine for one body! I think I need to cut back and I have three double-shot coffees a day.

        • Yeah, thats my personal counter. I run on nothing but pure caffeine and broken dreams.

It's likely cheap beacuse the 'good taste date' probably expired a month ago. You might find you like fresh Harris.

  • Good enough for coffee ice cream 😉

      Affogato with frangelico!

Weird. This is our favourite bean. Maybe you guys had old batches. It’s roasted in Australia so shouldn’t be more than a week or two old when you buy it.

I suspect some folks here may have not realised that this is ground coffee, not beans. (Harris sells both.) There’d be significant difference if you grind fresh. Buying this a week or two after it was roasted would help too
