Not near enough information for someone to help you. Help us to help you.

What connection port to laptop? What connection on monitors? What resolutions? What extra ports do you need? What's your budget?………………..

    • HDMI TV port
      Laptop USB C or HDMI
Budget the cheapest the better as long as it’s a good quality.
Don’t want too many functionalities. The main requirement is to project two excel docs on my monitors.

  • Check what inputs you have on your laptop. If you have an HDMI and a usb-c then you just need 2 cables (1 x hdmi and 1 x usbc to hdmi) and no docking station.

    • USB c gets used for charging the laptop so only left with hdmi

    • not always, my MSI has hdmi and usbc but the usbc is dumb one. yeah already confirmed with MSI, already tried, already asked.
its dumb port. just transfer data not diplay capable.
retretting till now a year later

      • Again, the lack of information provided by OP 🙄….. also, they said above "Laptop USB C or HDMI".

Recommended it a few times, so will again - I use the 'triple display' one from here and have had no issues. Might need a usb c extension if you are trying to hide the dock away, as the cable from the dock to your usb c port is pretty short.

I am running 2 x 1080p monitors off it, but some reports say 1440p could be an issue.

    • How does that one work when using 2 screens off hdmi as it only has 2 hdmi points or is the video coming off the usbc cable to the hub then hdmi to 2 screens

Yeah only thing plugged into my laptop is the usb c cable. Two hdmis off the hub to the two screens.

    • Yeah 1440 didn't work so had to do 1 hdmi into the hub and one directly into the laptop

  • What laptop do you have? Have you checked whether manufacturer offers a dock? It might be expensive but will give you an idea of the possibilities.

    • Dell latitude 5300 2 in 1

      • Looking at the photo there is no docking ports under, only offer is usb-c dock. So you might be out of luck
