If you're screaming for ice-cream now that the weather is warming up, good news: Ben & Jerry's is giving away 30,000 free treats until the end of the year.

That could be a free scoop (in either a cup or cone), a brownie, shake, hot fudge sundae or a freshly packed pint to take home.

All you have to do is sign up to the ice-cream chain's Inside Scoop rewards program from 9am on Monday November 8 and you'll get to spin the wheel for your prize. There's a 100 per cent success rate which means you won't be logging off empty-handed. But the promo is only available until all 30,000 prizes have been claimed, so better hurry.

Prizes are available to click and collect or redeem until December 31. Only available at the following Ben & Jerry's Scoop Stores.

New South Wales: Bondi Beach, Chatswood, Manly and Newtown
Queensland: Mooloolaba, Noosa, Pacific Fair, Surfer's Paradise and Cairns

    For Web dev geeks: There is only 1 endpoint and you only need 1 verified phone number. It only sends 1 variable to verify front end. So enter different emails and you're set.

          Wouldn't be the first time a website has been ozbargained. Plus they had exposure from other channels as well.

          They probably should have a better setup but they wouldn't have run this marketing campaign knowing beforehand their servers couldn't handle the traffic.

    I signed up successfully and received an email confirming this. Most of the time, I'm getting a 504. When the site does load, I can input a password but logging in fails without an error. No idea if I can get free ice-cream.

        I got the same. Exactly the same.
        The staff member didn't bother with the code. She asked for my name and number. Matched me up. Then asked for my phone to see WHAT falavor of ice cream, then proceeded to ring it up. It's still $8.50 or something silly, but a good quantity of ice cream and the cone was nice too.

        So a win for me, I enjoyed it!

    I got lucky and spun a pint!

    I went to the store and they asked for my name and it didn’t show up in their system

    Was a bit of hassle and they took my details, but I walked away with a pint

    There doesn’t seem to be any way of checking out using insidescoop, it stays at $0 and hangs at the checkout - the whole point of the site was to be able to click and collect
