iPhone 13 or 13 Pro or 12 Pro?

What are your thoughts.

I need to buy one of these models.

EDIT

Sorry if I wasn't clear. I was gauging everyone's opinion in general not really looking for advice but rather what everyone's thought process was when purchasing the latest iPhones.

I'm android user so I believe the decision making is slightly different when purchasing a phone compared to the apple crowd. All 3 phones listed above have about $600 to $800 between them. So obviously looking for justifications as to why you'd pick iPhone 13 pro over an iPhone 12 pro.

For who? Yourself? What do you want out of your phone?

I'd go 13 Pro. A friend however said the Pro was too heavy for them and exchanged it for a 13.

Help us help you by putting in more effort in your OP. Otherwise you'd probably be better off putting that query into google search and avoid the (not entirely undeserved) snark here.

Actually, you need to buy all of them. That’s the only way to know for sure. First-hand experience is the only experience.

Buy from the Apple Store, chuck it all on a credit card, and return the two that don’t spark the most joy.

No risk in the first seven days with complimentary AppleCare.

  • Budget? Use case? The form factor you want? So many things left out.

      Budget?

iPhones are not compatible with budgets.

      Use case?

I don’t like cases. Why ruin a masterpiece by wrapping it in ugly plastic?

      The form factor you want?

Something that makes phone calls… so it must not look silly held up to one’s ear.

      So many things left out.

      Like what?

  • 13 Pro Max for the amazing battery life

Stupidly overpriced… as are most fashion accessories

Well add them to the compare section on apple's website and go am I paying more for a feature I am not going to use. Bing Bang Bom.

Looking to have a conversation, thanks Sherlock.

oh okay well then… my decision making process is to go to apples website, and click the phone tab, then click compare after reading the reviews and watching videos… Here's a link to it for ya and then think as I paying more for a feature I'm not gonna use. From the questions below, I think it would greatly benefit you to watch or read some reviews and comparisons and for you to figure out the use case of what you use your phone for and what matters to you. BTW the differences in the camera's is found on the comparison site.

        • Good chat. Thanks

  • The one with the biggest screen size for me

    • Yeah I generally use to do this for battery size

  • Bigger budget = more features.

There. Pro if you really use it to take and edit videos.

    • Is the camera software/editing between the pro and non pro?

      • pro has great cameras

  • Apple is for people who think they have money to show, I 13 Pro max is almost $1900 and I don't believe you should pay that much for a phone what $ 600 one can do.

Because after 6 months this phone will again reprice at $ 1200 and another version will come out and take his place.

My wife went from 6S to 13 pro-Max and after 2 weeks I asked her do you liked your new phone and she said Ahh not really it does the same work that it used to be doing on 6S only thing is battery life is better and large memory and it's like a brick heavy so she doesn't carry in her hand and mind you apple phones are prone to break n crack when they fall so better to carry another insurance.

Why the switch to Apple? Are you sure you want to change eco-systems, and pay handsomely for the privilege?
Pixel 6 and 6 Pro are comparable and much less expensive and use the Android system you are used to
If you want to try Apple why not get a 2nd hand iPhone 8 or X or something and use it for a week
Will be a very expensive choice to make if you want to switch back again (unless you can buy from Apple and return in 7 days as others have said)

my previous iphone was an X that i also bought on launch day. I only buy a new one when i need, and i’d been holding out for a new one for a while cos i had a few issues with my handset, and i figured that i might as well get some decent bang for my buck - it’s the one possession that i use the most more than anything else i own so i might as well get the best one i can, so i have the iphone 13 pro max
