  • Please will you send to South Australia?

The Steelcase Rep in South Australia is https://greenedge.net.au/

They are the worst rep ever. They don't reply to emails. They don't give quotes.

I don't think OP is a company rep, he's just posting a deal he found. Your best bet is to contact a different state supplier maybe the Victorian one?

      • This is true. Just a buyer sharing - I got a Think last night to pick up in Melbourne (have to wait 10 days though…)

    • It’s possible that you’re just not ordering enterprise volumes of stock to make it worth their while.

I’ve had a similar issue with the Herman Miller distributors - they weren’t really geared up to sell to the public early on during lockdown, so they were a bit surprised when I called them to ask for “1 x Aeron plz” (to which they responded “do you have an account with us?”).

The reps in Australia don't give a damn. There is not enough pressure on them.

Steelcase Think or Leap v2? What are the differences?

    • +1

I bought a leap V2 and it's great. My new job has Thinks for everyone and they're good too, but I prefer the leap V2 as it's more comfortable. Both are fine chairs.

Here's a useful comparison vs other Steelcase chairs (and Sayl at similar prices): https://www.techgearlab.com/topics/small-and-home-office/bes...

From my read sounds like Leap might better for smaller folks? As always, best to sit in them

        • I'm shorter and that's part of why I got the leap and it's great for me. The think is also fine in that regard.

  • do you know if the headrest can be bought individually? or at a later time?

"Deliveries are currently limited to Metropolitan Sydney & Melbourne, and are subject to local stock availability. For shipments to other areas, please contact our customer service team at [email protected] for assistance."

    Bit disappointing.

Not much time left for research. :)

That landing page is showing Think model only.

    • Added the deal with e-mail content - includes series 1 but I haven't checked it:

  • Strange they won't ship outside of Sydney/Melbourne.

  • It's a shame only black versions are available for Series 2 and Leap with arms.

    • I asked about the color availability but got reply Series 2 is not part of this sale.

    offt $197 for delivery 26-50km

  • How much will the repair cost be, comparing to that of a $300 - $500 ergonomic chair?
