Fee Free NSW Tafe course give access to free Adobe CC?

Hi,

Does anybody know if this free free Tafe course

will provide me with a .edu email that includes access to the free Abode CC for students?

Sorry if it's been asked elsewhere,

Thanks

  • For an online course, it is unlikely.

You could ask Student Services via Chat, saying you don't have E-mail and would they provide one to facilitate the smooth communication between you, TAFE, and others doing the course.

I don't think you can buy .edu.au addresses in Australia, I bought a .edu E-mail address that worked for a while and then didn't. Adobe won't recognize some of them.

They may provide Server based access to Apps that allow you to complete the course material. It could be locked down (or monitored) and access might be s/to course progress.

Just ask, what is System Requirements and if you have to pay for it or how do you get access because you don't know or want to pay.

    • For an online course, it is unlikely.

I work at a TAFE and we give .edu to students regardless of their course. A one day chainsaw course for example.
      Same thing at universities really.

Enrol in the course OP. Worst case scenario you don't get an email and withdraw, no harm done.

Oh, no worries, forget what I said… :+)

  • Free access to Adobe CC with edu? I thought it was just cheaper?

    • NSW department of education has an enterprise license for staff and students for ms and Adobe products.
If you have a DET email dress you can download from the department website for free.

    • Apparently it's free with .edu addresses
I know it is free NSW public school students at least, along with many universities. Hoping it's included with the above Tafe course

  • Adobe don't offer anything for free as far as I know, the best you can get is free access via an existing educational plan, but somebody is paying Adobe.

NSW government pays for staff and students to have fre access.
