W10 tablet/fold-back 2-1 suggestions (running music software)?

Looking to get a new Windows tablet/foldback laptop for running my guitar amp simulation software on in a live situation (it is mounted in a holder on the music stand upright below the actual music-holding bit so I can see it while playing and making changes).

My old Surface Pro 3 doesn't have the grunt (i7, but dual core, so huge latency problems) but my wife's work SP7 is plenty good enough - i5 (1035G4), 16GB. Needs a USB-A port (I've not tried running my pedalboard into the USB-C port because I don't have a USB-B -> USB-C cable (if such a thing even exists)).

I suspect I can pretty easily get away with 8GB RAM given Amplitube 5 is only using 1.2GB.

Any suggestions? I like this SP a lot (love the form factor, have had my SP3 for 6+ years) but the Surface Pros are not cheap, so I'm looking to see if there's anything else out there of a similar ilk. I was looking at the Yogas, but they're not cheap either, and they've made such a mess of their naming at Lenovo it's now impossible to tell what form factor they are just by looking at the name.

So yeah, I don't need something with a HEAP of grunt, but I know this SP7 works fine (and I'd like to keep using it, but she selfishly takes it with her on work trips and so on) so something like this should be fine.

EDIT: Just realised this tablet holder mount I've got for the stand only goes up to 13" (I thought it went bigger) so I'm effectively barred from anything bigger than that… Damn, sorry for misleading)

(Addendum: the "suggested corrections" to the subject line were truly stupid suggestions, mostly that I should capitalise random words)

    There's the Vivobook Flip, Inspiron 15 7506, Lenovo Flex 5 and Inspiron 14 5410.

Note these are not detachable 2-in-1's.

    • That's great, thanks for that.

I did look at that Vivobook Flip this morning, but the geniuses at Bing Lee didn't include the photo of it folded back, so I assumed that because of the way it sits the base up relative to the screen that it didn't fold all the way back…

Now I'm back to being interested in it. #ToTheResearchLab

    Try a USB-C hub with USB-A ports. https://www.jbhifi.com.au/products/bonelk-long-life-slim-ubs…

You been here since 2009 and don't know mod comes in and fixes the title to that format?
