Jabra 75t Earbuds - Comfortable Alternatives?

Hey all,

I grabbed a set of the JABRA Elite 75t active wireless earbuds from the Fathers Day deal, and just can’t get them comfortable. I’ve even bought the Spinfit 360 replacement tips and to be honest they are no different.

I find that the medium/large size are too big, and I have had the small tips detach into my ear canal on two occasions which has scared the hell out of me to use them again.

So I’m looking for some recommendations - I have a set of Edifier W200BT sports earphones which I find fairly comfortable, they are just lacking in features, sound quality and the wire behind the neck is a bit annoying.

Should I just stump up the $180 for the AirPods 2? Or just try a set of the Soundpeats Air2 or 3 or some of the Edifier TWS NB2 or Neobuds? I seem to not like the fully in-ear solutions like the Samsung Buds or Sonys that are always on Ozbargain.

Ive read a few others seem to have similar issues with the Jabras as well.

  • 85ts? They are a different shape (oval) ear piece to the 75ts, and are designed to be somewhat open in the ear canal rather than sealed off.

  • we all have different ear canal shapes and sizes. What is comfortable to you might not be for others. Send me a photo of your ear. :D

  • I like the shape of the Bose earbuds (I've got the sport version). The wing design I've found to be a bit more secure and comfortable especially if you're going to be moving around with them on. Price is about on par with the Jabra Elite 75ts but I bought them on a 40% off Qantas store sale recently (not sure if it's still going).

Just to update this, ended up buying some Airpods 2nd gen which seem much more comfortable. Don't sound as good as the Jabras and don't get the same isolation, but seem good to me for the purpose.
