How to use AliExpress coins

I see you can do this stupid check in and plant game to get coins. Then it says you have x coins worth $. You can't exchange them for coupons because it always says 0 left. The store coupons are always empty.

There's a part that says you can shop with coins. It's only on the app. The items are inspired by what I've searched, but always more expensive. Eg a game controller, I have in my cart for 29. In this coin shop the same thing I can get for only 29 and 100s of coins, I save 20.
Or something I don't need and I can save 4c with 2 coins.

Not only that I find the app stupid because it's hard to read fine print for all the usual Ali traps.

So I have coins and nowhere to use it seems?

      Like shopback giving me 6c for clicking on some button 7 days in a row! It was new on shopback so i tried it, but do they really think they will have a happy customer once I get 6c…

    I've never bothered with their low valued coins, seems to be too little for too much.

    The coins were nerfed long ago. Coupons sell out instantly and the products you can buy are overpriced.

    The money hop they had leading up to Singles Day is where the real discounts could be made. Plenty of $1 off $1.01 coupons and similar. Even 1c items.

    The coins are really complex and it amounts to almost no savings. I would suggest just forget about it.
