Ideas for Christmas packs as donations? Varying ages

Hobart City Mission are collecting gifts for Christmas for under-priviledged kids and families. They have some items you can donate directly through a purchase with a partner org but I wonder if OzB could offer some alternative bargains that'd be good.

I figured a back-pack that was really practical might be nice and then fill with a mix of things depending on the age. There's plenty of time to order then go drop-them off so I was thinking I could do that.

Any good ideas?
