      do you have a recommendation for a better holder? I must admit, I'm anxious at buying any of these things because I find either the vents are wrong way, dashboard or glass isn't sticky enough, etc. etc. always something wrong

        But I'm thinking of designing some kind of plastic peg to prevent the vents from moving down, so I can use the cheaper ones.

            @nudy: Yeah, I got one through the Telstra rewards deal.

            It's OK.
            It has springs to hold on to the phone which is a bit annoying.
            It would have been better if it was one of the gravity ones, but at least it does not move once the phone is in. Very sturdy.

      I had the same problem a few weeks ago when a similar deal was out
      Glad to say I used Bank transfer and it worked
      Credit card never worked after 3 tries so got scared
      Op confirmed my order via PM
      and I just received it today for my car, very pleased with product and its careful packaging, kind of wished I bought this version now as it looks more premium

        Can anyone post a picture for what the attachment mechanism is for these vent holders. Might give me a better idea of whether it might actually fit my car vents. Is there any chance they will scratch or damage the air vents?
