Trading US Options in Aus

I am trying to find the best solution for trading US options in Australia.
Have signed up with Interactive Brokers but the website seems slow and clunky although the fee's are not too bad.
HighLow seems to have shutdown, Stake does not look like it offers options..

Anyone had any luck in Aus?

    Stick with IB.
Basically never goes down, the platform looks totally crap but is powerful once you set it up. You get good fills and great currency conversion.

    • I second this, use the trader workstation app and customize it. Much better than going via the website.

      • Cheers guys, i havent actually tried the workstation app so i will look at this.
The mobile app is slow as!

        I third this.

By the way, options are an easy way to burn your life savings.

        • The desktop app is so much better!
Good way to burn money if you are stupid and careless, good way to earn money if you know what you are doing :)

    • Except for money transfer is a pain.

      • yep, not convenient at all.
also, not as reliable as IB.

      • TW promotes http://www.currencyfair.com/ for international transfers (add USD$20 to deposit into trading account).
TW rejects FX transfers from https://wise.com/ (formerly TransferWise)

Note: Have personally not used the above, nor my TW account at all.
