    Is this for residential?

      Hi mate,

This would usually be for a commercial dwelling given the sizing, but if you have a roof space that big than by all means anything is possible

  • How much to get a solar battery?

    • Hey mate,

So you would need hybrid inverters for that one.

So for a 25kW system with the Astro panels, x1 Goodwe 10kW standard inverter and x1 Goodwe 10kW Hybrid inverter with LG RESU chem 13kWh Battery you'd be looking at $25,990 or $17 with a finance option.

Flick me a private message if you'd like to know more

      Cheers

      Nathan

  • Hi Rep - If my home roof can accommodate this amount of panels (both in weight and physical space) and has 3 phase power is there a version I can have installed domestically?

    • Hi mate,

I certainly don't see why not. Flick me a private message and we will see what we can do for you

  • How much space do you need for this?

    • Hey mate,

Shoot me a private message and we can draw up a bit of a design for you to see if it will fit

      Cheers

      Nathan

    • With about 20% panel efficiency, for 1 sqm you got 200w, so you need 125sqm of prime roof space, but for typical conical roof shape you will be lucky enough to use a third of the space.

  • Hey Mate how much for 13.3 KW with say 36 panels and is the price after the rebate

    • Hey mate,

Shoot me a private message with a few few details and we will see what we can do for you. Yes this pricing is after the rebate

      Cheers

      Nathan

  • Does the price include roof structural assessment to install solar? How about DNSP connection?
Which racking would you be using?
What are wokmanship, panels and inverter warranties?

  • Hey Mate,

We use Titan or Clenergy rack, whatever is available at the time of your booking.

We will provide a 10yr workmanship warranty on our commercial work. Or can extend to 25 years (lifetime) for $790 additional charge.

Warranty on the Astro's are 12yr product & 25yr performance.

Warranty on the Huawei is 10yr Product.

We will look after the entire DNSP connection for you as well as an onsite assessment to ensure the system is suitable for the roof type.

  • What to do with old panel at the end of lifecycle?

    • +2

      Hey mate,

So once the panels have expired, we can send someone around to remove them for you at a small cost (dependant on the system size) we also have a couple of guys that will pick the panels up once off to donate them to African villages.

  • Warranty on the Huawei is 1yr Product.

    Lolwot?

    • My apologies mate, should have been 10yr

  • Can anyone post a kwh output chart over a day? Preferably in Perth. Presumably for 6kw

    • Hey mate,

Hopefully this link helps you out a bit!

      • I was really just trying to work out how late at night it stops getting power from irradiated sunlight. Like, if i had a big ass 15kw system.. Could i still get 1kw at 7pm*? Or its or still dead by 5pm?

*not specifically 7pm but you get the gist

So with a curve for any kind of system i could guage that.

I know heaps of people have systems that output this data so just thought I'd ask

Would this charge my Huawei p30 phone?

    • +5

      Hey mate,

I think it should be fine, as long as you have the cord, an adapter and a working power point you shouldn't have any issues at all. If that doesn't work, try getting a new cord.

      Cheers

  • Looked up the ABN - only been around for 1-2 years. Business address was only recently rented out after February this year.

I personally wouldn't be putting any faith in a 10 year warranty let alone a 25 year "lifetime" warranty for a company that's been around less than the plant on my shelf. You'd be silly to think this company is going to be around in 25 years to claim on your warranty.

    • +3

      Hi mate,

I completely understand your thought process there, how can you put faith in any company then? A lot of companies (not just within the Solar industry) offer warranties longer than they have been around. But for your piece of mind, we offer the additional warranty for $790 which is underwritten by a 3rd party being 'Lloyd's'.

We don't profit off of that, we plan to be around for years to come, hence the name 'Synergy Trade Services'. We will be undertaking many other roles within the construction industry. There has also been companies worth billions one day and nothing the next.

You have to start from somewhere right?? You can't just magically click your fingers and give your company it's 25th birthday.

      • Yea, i'm sure many of the hundreds of failed solar companies would say the same thing.

        https://www.lgenergy.com.au/faq/buying-a-solar-system/how-ma…

Buyers should beware of this risk buying from a new company, as opposed to going with a long-established company. You pay more, but they're still around for a good reason.

Unfortunately there has been a lot of dodgy companies that have just up and left i don't think anybody will deny that.

But let me ask you something, if somebody just wanted to have a go in life and decided to open up a new restaurant, would you not eat there because they haven't had the chance to build themselves a reputation or would you go to a large fast food franchise that's been around for years serving below average greasy food?

I am sure that somebody gave you a shot in your current employment, should they have not chosen you because you didn't have as much 'experience'?

Give the little guy a shot hey? Even Amazon and microsoft had to start from somewhere.

          Cheers

          Nathan

A good way to test the honesty/trustworthyness of a solar provider in Victoria is to do a Google search with VCAT and the name of the provider in the search.
