I've been buying my supplements from iherb usually but decided to give vitacost a go since they've started shipping to Australia.

Was surprised that most of the products were cheaper than iherb, and with their current 50% off second item on some of their own brands it worked out I saved around $25 USD on my order.

For anyone who's wanting to lower their cholesterol I'd recommend getting the Vitacost Phytosterol Complex with Beta-sitosterol — 240 Tablets which is a bargain compared to buying the special margarine. Last health check the doctor was amazed at how high my good cholesterol was - unfortunately it's not getting the half off second deal.

DHL shipping was a reasonable $10.99, once again slightly cheaper than iherb.

    Vitacost have great pricing for pretty much every product.
    However, a friend of mine placed an order last month and he received the goods over 25 days later. He definitely wasn't happy. I have also heard other negative customer service feedback about Vitacost but if you can handle slow shipping, go for it!

    repped, never heard of them but they do seem cheaper than iherb which i didn't think was possible

    Took a good 3 to 4 weeks to get my stuff, but seems like most of that time was spent in customs as my order was opened and scanned. People have to realise that orders of this nature will get the scan treatment. If you are willing to wait, these guys are the best.

      Agreed. I've had someone recommend these guys. I've yet to order from them, however I can't imagine it being any worse than Vitacost. Famous last words?? heh heh.

    At the risk of sounding like a broken record I'll repeat what I said about my experience with Vitacost… for the sake of people who haven't heard from me before.

    To make a long story short, I ordered 2x Optimum Nutrition Whey protein 4.7kg bags from Vitacost. The wait time was well over what they said it would be. After a month, I received a crushed, water-logged box which had passed through Europe, and as the sticker written in French stated, was "treated as abandoned". The box's size could have easily held the whole order but only had 1 of 2 bags in it. It wasn't til another month passed that I got the next crushed box. Again, marked with the French sticker "treated as abandoned".

    The point I'm making is, think carefully before dealing with Vitacost. You may not receive your order, and if you do, don't expect the condition to be anything a customer would consider acceptable for the money paid.

    If you really can't find it anywhere else and you really need it, order through Vitacost, but do leave them at the bottom of your suppliers list. They're not that good.

    I ordered march 25 and arrived April 3 so am pretty happy with the delivery time.
