What Is Best Protective Case -Just Bought Samsung S20 FE5G

Well just bought new Samsung S20 FE 5G that was a popular topic here as Samsung was doing a good deal. Still waiting for phone and looking at protective case for drop protection. Been looking online and reading reviews and has come down to three popular choices…but as always negative reviews muddy the waters. Looking at

  • Spigen rugged armor case…some say to rubber like, slippery and not good edge protection.
  • Spigen tough armor case… to thick not good for every day use and not good for wireless charging.
  • OtterBox Symmetry Series Case…which is the only model available for this phone. Also has mixed reviews.

Please also comment glass screen protector suitable for fingerprint scanner.

Other phone case recommendations welcomed.

Phone is just normal variable everyday use.

Comments

  • I have a spigen on my s20 and it's excellent. I got the spigen screen glass too to guarantee it'd fit With the case. It's probably the best brand for glass too I haven't had an issue.

  • I always go Spigen Tough Armor.

I like a kickstand on my cases.

    • Sorry my reply below was for Andard…still learning to drive. Tough armour not to thick for slipping in pocket?
      Cheers

      • I've never had an issue with it.

  • Thanks…which spigen case? Rugged or the the thicker tough? Do you also use wireless charge?
    Cheers

  • I bought this phone for a relative and will get her something like this wallet style case which is practical with extra zipper section and built in magnet

I don't like screen protectors. I used to buy the glass ones but they always end up cracking after a few weeks and look worse. Natural screen without protector looks better and more functional. It's very hard to break the screen if phone is kept in a folding wallet style case

  • +1

    Spigen is the benchmark.

  • I use the Ringke Onyx for my S21 Ultra. Sleek and strong!
