A game thats been on my wishlist and has dropped in price for the next 7 days care of Black Friday Deals at Amazon. Next best price for alternative pricing to Amazon is Games Empire for $76.98 (includes shipping)

* Great asymmetric war game, would highly recommend to Age of Empires/StarCraft fans dipping their toes into board gaming. Not as nasty as some people think ;)
* I would also highly recommend the two faction expansions, Underworld (also includes two new maps) and Riverfolk for much more variety (one way of playing a four player game with the base set, 44 different ways with the expansions), as well as the Exiles and Partisans deck for more interesting card play
* This is a reasonably complex game, and probably shouldn't be your very next purchase after Catan and Ticket to Ride unless you're feeling particularly adventurous!
* The rules complexity is a bit higher than Terraforming Mars, and more comparable to something like Scythe or thereabouts I would say.

  This game has been a winner in our house (ages 12, 15, 17, 50-ish). First few games a lot of rules to take in, but so worth it. Have also bought a couple of the expansions as well.

      Based on reviews we got riverfolk which we have been playing for a while. Plus more recently we got underworld and Exiles and Parisans Deck. Only played underworld a couple of times and not the new card deck. I find it takes me a couple of games to totally understand the tactics of the new characters. But I’ve really enjoyed playing the game. My eldest did suggest now we just need to get clockwork… I would recommend all the expansions we have so far (if budget is no limit!!).

  Been waiting for this to go on sale again! Ordered this last year at the same price, but the parcel got lost and there was no more in stock so I never managed to get one in the end!
