Both Tidy Cats products are on sale. I have personally used the "clumping litter" (red) and it's awesome. Only downside is the cost - $20 usually.

  I normally use the ALDI litter - cat litter clumping - any idea how this compares?

    It's the best stuff of all I've tried in the 15 years I've had my cat. But I haven't specifically tried the Aldi stuff.

    Suggest having a look at the reviews, maybe get a feel for it from there.

  I tried this and found it to be good clumping and with minimal tracking, however the fragrance was quite strong to the point of being overpowering.

  I also assume i was sensitive to something in it as I also developed an unexplained rash after starting to use the product that went away when i stopped (i suspect the cat was bringing some dust into the bed etc).

    Is that the blue or the red? I've been using the red and I don't think it has any odour.

  Reviews here suggest that the formula has changed and is no longer clumping well. I usually get Scoop Away from Costco, which if you buy online works out a fraction dearer than this if delivered, but cheaper if you buy in store. It's been the best litter of all the ones I've tried for my cat.
