      Especially if the person sending the email never sends the code before the validity expires. Hopefully the setup process is unobtrusive

  So how do we remove ourselves from the 36-month data marketing list (and verify that this has occurred)

  (1) Voucher is provided by email after filling the online form or by calling our Asia-Pacific Sales team. Voucher is valid for your first Public Cloud project only and is limited to one per NIC handle (username). The free credit provided can be used for all Public Cloud services and in all regions except Asia-Pacific regions (Sydney & Singapore datacenters). To use the public cloud services with the voucher, you need to accept the applicable terms of service listed on the OVHcloud website. The activation code for this voucher is valid until November 29th 2022 and the free credit provided is valid for one (1) month starting from its activation. The free credit is automatically deducted in full from your next public cloud bill. This free credit has no monetary value, and cannot be exchanged, transferred or refunded. Once the free credit is exhausted, your account will be debited as normal each time you use the service. For this reason, you need to have a valid payment method registered in the OVHcloud Control Panel. If you would like to cancel this service without incurring any additional fees, you will need to cancel your projects in the OVHcloud Control Panel before your usage exceeds the total credit balance covered by the voucher.   Now rep says the code is only valid until 29 November 2021 - no deal, at least for that part.

  (Which means you have to hope that the person responsible for checking email redemption forms is fast enough to send [if they ever do], and that the account sign-up process is not laborious with a waiting period)

  I should have known better and wait until the deal posts actually get upvoted and analysed by other OzBargainers. OVHCloud OVH ANZ has minimal upvotes in their post history. Will leave this to other OzBargainers to compare. The defects here make me wary

  Or stick to the main providers that offer more accessible and streamlined free tier and free trial offerings first before making a bet with OVH in Australia

      Surely the legalese at the time of submission is what is in effect.

      Changing it after sounds like misleading conduct consistent with the procedures shown by OVH

      Not sure how this falls under ACCC

      Otherwise delete all the information from the unsuspecting form submissions and notify customers? Hard to retract and put toothpaste back in the tube now breached!~

      What counts as subsidiaries and subcontractors. Sounds like data is being siphoned off to any market bidder

    If you have already created your first Public cloud project without a code, you may add the code in the credit and voucher section on left hand side of your project.

  500Mbps or 250Mbps and we also have 1Gbps,3Gbps,10Gbps servers (depends on the chosen server) is the maximum outbound speed indeed.
  That said on some dedicated server burst is allowed (during peak traffic or for on-demand high speed for software updates).
  Regarding SSD SATA version, i would need to confirm depending on the server you are after, but it is not NVMe. (We have SSD NVMe option on some servers and clearly mention in the disk configuration selection)
