  • I would much rather watch movies at Hoyts Xtreme screen with recliners

    • No Hoyts near me unfortunately, been a long time since I have been to one actually how is the Xtreme screen different?

      • It would be a much bigger screen than gold class, which tend to be smaller theatres.
The recliners are also excellent. Not to mention much better sound system

    • imho i prefer the gold class experience. Prefer the food and drink selection more. The seats are more comfy and mrs loves the option of getting a blanket.

  • Oh yeah, I agree 👍. The xtreme screen is the proper theatre experience….huge screen, great sound. Everything else is secondary.

I do like the gold class for the luxuries and food service but there are movies which I would watch only on bigger screens

  • Used to be able to use these for Event Cinemas too, but I don't see any mention of Event in their T&Cs. Anyone know if Event will be offering the same deal? I can't see it on their site.

  • After cinemas reopened whenever I use a movie voucher my Vrewards points don't increase. Is this happening to anyone else? There was never any issue with it earlier in the year. It's just annoying cause I have to email them each time to add the points. I hope the system gets fixed soon because I've watched a couple of movies over the last month and the problem is still happening.
