the only thing about those kmart toasters is their heat level are inconsistent, eg different btw 1 and 2 can be warm and burnt..
I have a Kitchen Aid toaster like this in the kitchen and a KMart $10 special in our caravan.
Best toast is from Kmart model, always evenly cooked on both sides.
The kitchenAid looks the best but toast is dark one side and light the other side.
If you could get a KitchenAid toaster, rip out the insides and put the KMart toaster inside it then you would be on a winner.
Just my opinion.Definitely better than K-mart one IMHO. Bread is toasted very evenly and like the person above said, it does so while looking great ;)
