Spent a good few thousand hours on this game. Started with the base game and ended up getting the Escape from Darkness edition. Cannot not recommend it enough if you like FPS with elements of RPG. Very brutal game that takes no time to learn but a long time to master.

Everytime I go to buy this I'm put off paying the VAT, since I know they don't need to charge for it on sales outside the UK.

haven't played it since you can't play with friends from different countries >200 ping. Disappointing as only reason I got it..

Any idea if they offer trial keys? I'd love to try the game but not convinced my PC can do it justice.

Thanks OP. I bought the Standard Edition for the European region for $55.63 after currency conversion. Now to see if I can play mouse and keyboard…
