Are Aliexpress Black Friday 2021 Deals Legit

Aliexpress - are their Black Friday deals real, or is the "before" price generally a fake? I have no idea, and am potentially going to waste what little disposable income I have impulse buying! Please help me, seasoned ozbargainers! Is there any way to view item price history?

In case it helps, I'm specifically looking at craft kits like these:

and "lego compatible" building kits like these:

Usually fake prices, generally all over the place, try this price history tracker https://www.aliprice.com/

    • Wow, this exists?! Hah awesome, it's just what I needed, thanks! and cheers for the warning, you're right, looks like fake deals on my items

      • You can get genuine bargains with the coupons though.

        • Just found the coupons you listed, excellent that will help! thank you

  • i would say use aliexpress as last resort, when you couldn't find the item or good price elsewhere.

  • The sale price is ~5% off.

    • Impulse buying averted! Thank you

  • … you guys know about socialgood? 100% crypto back from aliexpress (ex shipping and taxes) in around 60 days… https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/648833

    • I didn't until just now! Cheers for the heads up, I've never used crypto before, I'll give it a try

  • I've been looking for this item:

    Aliexpress link

Lists as like $7, but that's from Spain only. Click China or Australia warehouse and suddenly $20+

And they keep sending me e-mails saying it's "on sale" for $3.09.
